Wow … have we been busy here at the studio!!! Having a lot of fun too! Once again it’s that time of year to reflect, and once again we are ever grateful for all of the wonderful experiences we’ve had through this year!

The business has grown, and in turn, our circle of friends and acquaintances has grown. I’m honored to have met people from many countries, many religions, and many points of view on life.

I’ve had the opportunity to give back, as they say, by working with amazing organizations like Reaching U, which benefits needy families in Uruguay, AMARD & V (Artists Mentoring Against Racism, Drugs and Violence), and NILDTS, which helps families heal from the loss of a newborn. With every person I’ve worked with I’ve been blessed by what each person has to offer to make this world a better place!

On a lighter note, my 13 year-old daughter is showing an interest in photography, and some of you have seen her accompany me to some of our sessions. Yes – I am a proud papa!! 

To everyone reading this, I want to wish you the best holiday season – whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, something else, or just celebrate life! We have a lot to celebrate, a lot to be thankful for, even those moments that are more difficult, as they help us grow as human beings.

2012 promises to be an exciting year as well and I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Some of you know that during the Summer I teach Photography for the Artists Mentoring Against Racism, Drugs, and Violence (AMARD & V) camp in New Brunswick.

This camp lasts 5 weeks and in such short period of time kids as young as 10 years old and as old as 16 years old generate an amazing body of work.

At the camp we teach Theater, Visual Arts, Bomba (traditional Puerto Rican music), and Photography.

The following are some of the photos from different projects as well as the parade on the last day of camp . I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Here are some photos from Avalon (NJ) as well as Washington D.C (4th of July weekend).

We took a couple of days with the family and enjoyed some really cool (fun wise, not temperature wise =) days with the kids. I also got to photograph some really cool monuments, buildings, and sunsets…
